Refund & Quality Guarantee Policy

At Chineseyiwu.com, we strive to ensure every shipment meets your specifications. However, as international trade involves complex logistics, we have established a clear protocol for handling quality issues.
1. The Core Principle: Prevention First
Unlike B2C e-commerce (like Amazon), returning goods to China is often impossible due to high international freight and strict Chinese customs regulations on re-importing goods.
2. Acceptable Quality Limit (AQL)
Unless a specific quality standard is agreed upon in writing, all inspections are conducted based on the international standard ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 (AQL 2.5 for Major Defects, 4.0 for Minor Defects).
3. Claims & Compensation
If you receive goods that are defective, damaged, or incorrect, please follow this procedure:
- Time Limit: You must notify us within 7 days of cargo arrival at the destination port/warehouse.
- Evidence: You must provide high-resolution photos/videos of the defects and the outer packaging.
Our Liability:
- If we missed the defect: If the defect was visible and missed by our QC team during a paid inspection, we will compensate you for the value of the defective goods (via Credit Note or Refund).
- Factory Fault: If the defect is a manufacturing error (e.g., wrong material inside), we will negotiate with the factory on your behalf to secure a refund or free replacement in the next order.
- Shipping Damage: If goods are damaged due to poor packing (our fault), we take responsibility. If damaged by the carrier, we will assist you in claiming insurance (if insured).
4. Non-Refundable Items
- Service Fees: Sourcing commissions and service fees are non-refundable once the service has been performed.
- Deposit: The 30% deposit paid to factories for production is generally non-refundable if you cancel the order mid-production without cause.
- Custom Products (OEM): Products customized with your logo or design cannot be returned or refunded unless they are functionally defective.
